...you don't really change, you just become more like yourself (and lose a little coordination)

That is a cute analogy, except that there is no way to 'sober up' from old age.

Got news for you pal.. I am 67 and still capable of doing the things that I did when I was 18.. may not run quiet as fast or run as far.. but thats okay.. because one of the things you learn from age is that you don't have to be in a hurry.. if you do it right.. you can still enjoy everything and that includes getting a little tipsy once in a while.. as far as cordination goes.. I still drive the golf ball nearly three hundred yards... can still dance the shoes off the ladies, swim across the lake, water ski, snow ski.. and bowl a three hundred game... Maybe not everyone is that way.. but I am and I know how to enjoy living.. getting older is not a bad thing..so long as you do some good along the way..

If last night was any indication then i'll have to say yes. Just kidding. I only had enough to feel middle aged. Gin & tonics beat Candy Corn any day.

Great question. What propted it?

Getting older is very sobering. And enlightening. And fun, because of the first two answers.

Never been drunk........its a waste of life, but it would be sad to think that people are really their intoxicated selves.............."loose" and pathertic.
