Sadly, I'm finding out that almost everyone I know has, at one time or another, accidentally killed a beloved

family pet. What's your story?

We just had our shih tzu put to sleep. Making that decision was gut-wrenching to do. He was blind and had Cushings Syndrome. He would have good days and bad days and when the bad out numbered the good we took him to be put down. He is in a better place now, but somehow still with us.

Okay...Okay ...So I accidentally killed the pet 12' alligator. I admit it I was drunk and stumbled in to take a late night shower and Snappy bit my left big toe........ Man I took out my pen-knife and made me a pair of gator boots .... so there I told my own dirt so no more payola for you!

I had a baby blue jay once that I was feeding with an eye dropper. My grandmother let me keep it up in the linens pantry. I came in one day and someone had closed the pantry door and the baby bird was dead. It broke my heart! Not sure who closed the door. Could have been me. eventhough I can't imagine it.

my sister opened the door when my birds were flying and she let her out. She (the bird) started flying because my sister was blasting music and was asking my dad who to turn down a radio............

My animals are my dearest family members-- I'd never let anything happen to them.
