I lost my diary at school, and a counselor found it and read it. It contains my personal thoughts, and records my actions. I have written in it about a suicide attempt too, but of course it was a "fake" or "gesture" towards one. I felt that her reading it without my permission was a violation of my privacy. Is there anything to do? Someone commented me on my blog that I may be able to do this...

You don't have legal action. You don't really have any privacy rights at school.

As for the suicide attempt, I'm glad she read it and I hope she is taking action to keep an eye on you. I'm not buying this "fake" thing.

If you are sad, anxious or depressed, please talk to an adult that you trust.

No, you have no legal action. If you don't want other people reading your personal thoughts, don't write them down and then leave the book in public.
