An ice cube....as it melted it made a hole in my paper trick-or-treat bag...you can imagine the consequences.
I would rather have had a tooth brush!

I got a box of Dots with rocks in it. Ive also gotten Ramen Noodles and a coke, I saw some guy at the same house get Wheaties.

I went up to a house and noticed all these little weird booklets scattered in the lawn and sidewalk. Turns out the owner was giving out Chick tracts and most of the kids were tossing them as soon as they were out of sight.
I threw mine away in a garbage can after reading it.

the weirdest thing ive ever gotten while trick or treating is a spoon that said "happy halloween"
i thought it was quite weird....especially that it was a SPOON.
lol but yea. question answered.

One guy in our neighborhood gave adults trick or treating with the kids bottles of cheap wine (two buck chuck from TJ's)

I did get a toothbrush from a dentist...as a kid I lived across the street from one..truly !

i got a toothbrush tonight but that's because he's a dentist but 3 years ago when i was in 7th grade i got a nutrigrain bar and my friend got a snickers i was like "like that's not code for ur fat go on a diet!!" geez!!
