Magic Man, no doubt. The lyrics express the classic tension many young women have when torn between wanting to please their mothers and wanting to be with a man who is just...well..."a magic man." I can still hear the solo guitar licks all through my inner ear and my soul when I even just think of or remember that song. Singing it back when was cathartic. This is my generation.

I love the whole thing! Alone, Barracuda, and the rest that are on that album! It reminds me of my single days having fun, cruisen with my best friend down main street, blaring the music and singing our hearts out! I still have the "tape" I bought back in the early 90s. But it is ruined. Your message reminds me that I would love to get another one.
Glad someone out there likes them too!

Ann and Nancy recorded Battle of Evermore a Zepplin cover. They were named the Lovemongers, I think. On the Singles sound track.

Depends on my mood but these are the ones I tend to favor:
Magic Man - captures the sexiness of a hot fellow quite nicely
Dog & Butterfly - whimsical, summery, happy yet melancholic
Barracuda - driving rock rhythms and guitar - what's not to like?!?
These Dreams - seems more contemplative than their earlier work

Barracuda! Just listen to the guitar riffs. They rocked for women in the 70's! Come one! You know they were ground breakin for women. They are fvking awesome. Love those gals!

Heart had several great tunes. If I only could select one, I would choose "Barracuda", it just rocked, what can I say?
