The other day, I had a hard heavy door to slam me in the head accidentally. The next day, I was real dazed and my mom said I acted like I was in la-la land. I was really dazed. Later, I had a headache that felt like it had a lot of pressure in it. When I was walking, I suddenly lost my balance and almost fell and just caught myself in time. Today, I accidentally got hit in the head again. I'm a little dizzy. I've been hit in the head twice. Concussion?

How long should I wait to go to sleep after a concussion? What is the treatment?

It does sound like you may have a concussion. People who have had a concussion are advised to rest (if you have already been to sleep for a few days, then you can sleep your normal schedule) and take acetaminophen ( Tylenol ) or ibuprofen (Motrin) but should avoid Aspirin because it may increase the risk of bleeding.

If you have had prolonged dizziness, loss of balance, then I think you should have yourself checked out, just to make sure that there is nothing else going on. After being hit the second time, I wouldn't take any chances and definitely go get checked out at the ER.
