Yes. But it's only water weight. You retain water when you have your period. That's why you feel bloated sometimes. It will come off as soon as it's over.

Well some girls get bloated when they're on their period so that may be the cause. But then again it's only a difference of 2 or 3 pounds. Also the scale may just be wrong.

you may not gain actual weight, but many women experience bloating in which they retain water, which makes the scale read a little higher. most notice the "weight" drop right off after their menstrual cycle is completed. most say it's best not to weigh yourself about 3-4 days b/f it starts and certainly not during, but knock yourself out afterwards.

Your bloated, it happens. Its not that you've gained weight, but your body is carrying more fluid than normal. But if you eat like there is no tomorrow because of the chaos your emotions are giving you, then you will ultimately gain weight. I would suggest drinking alot of water and exercising.

Alot of women complain of bloating during their periods and many find they experience water retention so i guess it would make sense to say you gain a small amount of weight during ovulation.

Yes, because your period may make you retain water. Also, what you ate may affect your weight also--sugar and salt are big culprits. Weigh yourself at the same time every day for best results.

its basically water weight your just bloated you usually put on 2 pounds two day before your cycle and two days after your cycle, I'm dieting as well it always happens to me then after it goes off i have either lost or went back to original weight, try the over the counter water pill or the new midol that helps with bloating.

It may not necessarily cause weight gain, but many women retain water while on their period. Try drinking more water (I know it sounds counterintuitive but it helps) and cutting back on salt.
