An old movie called "The Crawling Eye" gave me nightmares as a kid. I haven't seen any that I really thought to be really scary in the genre of horror movies.
The worst, wow, there are so many, decisions, decisions; but "Plan 9 from Outer Space" probably was the worst..
Edit: On 2nd thought, "The Blair Witch Project" was worse than Plan 9.

the unique Psycho, I observed it whilst i grow to be 8, and that i could not take a bathtub for 2 years! another stable ones are Halloween, Rosemary's toddler, The Shining, Friday the thirteenth, A Nightmare on Elm street, The Exorcist, The Texas Chainsaw bloodbath and nighttime of the residing ineffective!
