I just got a a dual 1214 record player and well i dont have the manual. It came with a 6 LP stacking spindle that is suppose to allow 6 lps to be played in a row. However i dont know how to set it up to do this. here is a link to a pic of it that shows the spindle as well.

I think there is more to it then just sticking the 6 records on it pressing play. The record player plays one and moves the arm back to the original position and then shuts off.

Hi. It does not say in the specifications about stacking 6 records on the spindle. That was the old fashioned way years ago. It mentions it has a 6 percent speed adjustment. Maybe it is for 78 RPM Records, but i would not stack LP 'S on top of each other otherwise the arm will not track at the correct angle.

Here is a link for a copy of the manual,if you are interested.

Somewhere in this house there lurks a Dansette radiogram, bought around 1959/60. It was still working a few years ago. I also have a hifi which must be about 35 years old. I haven't played any records on it for ages but the radio still sounds good. I now have a collection of cds but the cd players don't seem to last more than a year or so and the sound isn't up to much, a bit tinny. I hesitate to buy a decent one.

you stick the spindle in (make sure it is properly inserted and properly seated). stack 6 records on it then hit engage
