I was driving my brother home from work the other day and he was sitting on the passenger side. A couple weeks back i noticed that the right exhuast pipe was pretty low to the ground alot lower than the left side. Well my brother around 290 pounds mabey less we went over a speed bump and heard a scrapping sound i never heard this before, we went over another and heard it again. I pulled the car over and told him to get out the car for a second and he did an noticed about a 3-4inch the car went back up. What is wrong is the pipe to loose or stop giving my brother rides.(Heres a picture notice how the right exhaust is lower than the left it's a dual exhaust)

tell your brother to sit in the back..LOL
this is normal, the converter pipe runs close to the right side rocker panel and is only about 8-10 inches from the ground.
your car is in nice shape!!!

It looks a little low, and as low as your car is already, much (if any) weight on the passenger side can cause it to scrape. Jack the rear end up, you will probably notice that the hangers are broken. Just go get some new hangers and pick it up to where it should be, and you should be good.

Crawl underneath and see if the rubbur donuts that hold the exhaust up aren't worn out or broken.

THEN you can give your brother a ride again...:)

Could be a loose or broken hanger. Have it checked. Good luck!
