I agree it's not like it use to be. Even the fish are gone.I remember catching two flounders on one rig try that today I don't think so.At 6 o'clock pm I went to get coffee a seven eleven and maybe I saw a group of three trick or treaties .the spirit is gone. Maybe its all the negativity with the candy being tainted and the fun of throwing eggs and shaving cream are now a felony if convicted. Its a bad time to grow up these days

Whew, boy -- same thing here. We think it's because it's Wednesday (middle of the week), and all the kids have school tomorrow.
There WAS a mob down at the community celebration, so maybe they're more organized & giving out more candy this year -- meaning, more kids are participating in the "safe" Halloweens & not going door-to-door?

Where are all the trick or treaters? In Winchester, Virginia, they're all walking in the roads, despite perfectly good sidewalks, as if cars didn't exist. We'll be lucky if there aren't casualties from such mindless disregard of common sense.
Do parents teach their children anything these days? And why would young girls dress up like hookers? Well, that's my rant for the night!

I think alot of the trick or treaters are going to be
going to those church parties for safety sake.
That's why I stopped because of all of the scares of
drugs and needles and blades.
Miss all the fun though since I love candy!!!

In my neighborhood the only street that everybody is on is a huge but crowded street. It is the most popular. I live right across the golf course from it and nobody comes. People don't even buy candy anymore. We never get any people :(.
