ectopic pregnancy occurs outside the uterus....if it is in the cervix it will be miscarried...can't be ectopic there and be any sort of problem....it can occur in the fallopian tubes and in the abdomen outside the uterus. Most ectopic pregnancies occur in the fallopian tubes.
