I have been hearing a lot of people talking because of the change in cartoon networks line up that 52 will be it and that there will be no more english episodes of bleach. Are they moving it to another network because that makes no sense to me. Viz media just started releasing the DVD's and Season sets. Why would they end The Dubbed episodes of bleach in the middle of the story? Unless their contract fell through I see no reason why they would stop making a franchise that is making them money. That is just bad business.

Can anyone tell me for sure what is going on here? Other then the fact that Cartoon network changed their line-up I know nothing so can someone please provide me with something a little more solid then Death Note taking Bleach's timeslot please.

The way it works is like this: To test the market, a company only buys a set of episodes to see if it is a good purchase. In the case of Bleach, I am guessing, Viz probably bought 52 episodes. Since is wildly popular here, I don't think Viz will discontinue the franchise and will keep making more episodes.
The only problem I see is that after Soul Society arc, there is a huge filler arc (60 episodes or more).

I cannot tell for certain, but I've heard cartoon network will be releasing their next month's schedule soon. I don't believe they'll be cancelling the dubbing though, as YTV in Canada still has it on air and the DVD sales are pretty good, so (I sure hope) they won't be stopping the dubbing.

I believe it's a myth circulating around and I don't think it's true. CN is always jumping around and it wouldn't be smart to dump Bleach right now anyways. To keep the kids itching for more I think they are just doing that as a replica marketing campaign like the Japanese. Discuss with us more at http://videobleach.com !!

Well, im guessing that Death Note is just a filler until someone Dubs more episodes of Bleach. :P
So once Death Note is over..(or once they've dubbed enough bleach eps), Bleach will return. ^^
