What has he conserved? Neither tranquility nor treasure.
A "true conservative" doesn't borrow the future of his own children and then put the safety and comfort of that future very much into question.
He is an ideologue who makes his choices based on opinions, rather than basing his opinions on facts.
A conservative wants things to be stable. Our President Bush has pushed instability to a surreal art form.
His "compassionate conservatism" is doublespeak, and neither compassionate nor conservative.
What words would I use to summarize his policies? Well,
baffling
indecipherable
misled
illogical
single-minded
obstinate
simplistic
inbred
and bordering on catastrophic.
Those are the ones I don't have to censor.

He is terribly naive, not well educated, and shows little ability to understand and direct foreign policy. I don't know if a true conservative could be elected president. I would settle for anybody who showed real intellect and wisdom. To be a good president today requires some body with an expert knowledge of world history, social issues, and economics. We cannot continue to get bogged down in wars thousands of miles from home. There is no good reason for staying in Iraq - the people in the region will still be fighting each other long after we are gone.

My goodness he is the furthest thing from a conservative.
Conservatives respect and move towards smaller less invasive government.
Bush wants to see and hear everything you say and do, without warrant, without due process and without justification on the odd instance you may or may not be a threat to national security.
Conservatives are renowned for their fiscal responsibility.
Bush - Do I really need to explain how grossly he has inflated the national debt.
Conservatives honor the foundations of society. This such as a Constitution or Bil of rights would apply here.
Bush - Refer to patriot act.
An more questions.
He is not a conservative, he is not a liberal he if anything is slightly fascist.

No, not in some words. He says he's a conservative, yet spends income Iraq and particular intrests like gasoline on a hearth. He says he's against abortion, yet for the six years he grow to be in workplace, and his occasion (which he's the chief of) grow to be in can charge of the two homes of congress, no law to outlaw abortion grow to be provided. He says he's a patriot, a defender of yank values and a supporter of the shape, yet he has given u . s . of america that's blackest eye in years with the "legalized" torture application, and ignoring du technique for prisoners. He says he's for freedom yet ignores congress and rule of regulation together with his wiretapping application. He has invaded 2 worldwide places in his 2 words and might invade a 0.33 in his self appointed "conflict on terror" and congress seems to be unable to envision his powers. This guy is risky. He has taken a nasty difficulty and made it worse. whilst the terrorists attacked on 9-eleven-01 they have been from no united states of america and their basically base grow to be here interior the U. S.. Invading Afganastan grow to be a mistake, basically ask the Russians how straightforward suppressing rebels there is. Iraq grow to be a superb larger mistake, we've been seen as enemies until eventually now the invasion, now we are invading occupiers. i'm not even gonna point out nationwide social classes or the catastrophe in New Orleans. Whew.
