Twice. People change. The person you divorce is never the same person u married. There is nothing to learn. You either grow together or grow apart. You sound like youre trying to be smart but until you walk the walk u dont know shiit about married life. Your way of thinking or philosophy is childish 101. Im done with this fool

Second marriages work out just a little less often than first ones do, so why not try again? Many people do learn from their experiences and do a better job making a second marriage successful. Why would you choose to be lonely and miserable when you have a shot at being happy with someone?

I have been married twice, the first time for 20 years in a horrible marriage. Then I met my soul mate and I have been truely happy for the past 10 years with him.
When I finally got the courage to leave my first husband I vowed I would never get married again and I meant it. Luckily for me I opened my heart when I met my husband and forgot about all the pain of the past.
Good Luck

I don't think that's true. I've been married twice and the first didn't work out simply because I felt I was ready but realized I wasn't. We were just too young trying to convince ourselves it was the right thing to do without thinking first and had no clue what marriage was really all about and how much work it takes. I am very grateful for the first marriage though because it taught me a lot about myself, what I want, what I don't want, etc. My second marriage I was ready and confident and knew who I was and who he was. We've been happily married for over 7 years now.

I have been married three times. You do learn from each one - but I believe that I was looking for the fantasy - the happily ever after - the thing that doesn't seem to exist. I had a rough childhood and was raised on books - the fairy tale books. Been looking for it all my life. I have now been single for 7 years. I am successful, attractive and have alot to offer - but no one seems to be around. It is hard out there!

because you fail on smthn doesn t mean you shouldn t try again!!
you learn from your mistakes you gain experience you get to know yourself better......
marriage is like everything else in life.....you can never be sure.....
just think about how many times a toddler falls flat when learning how to walk!!!!! what happens next????
you keep on tryin till you make it!!!!till you re sure you can stand on your own too feet and are able to approach other people and share....!!!!!!!
