I am talking about as of the season just gone, not like "Boston wasn't in the world series for x-amount of years from 1901-1955, but got there and lost the series 4-3", thats in the past. No "look up google, ask .... If you do that it just shows that you are weak. A webpage showing me would be good but I can soon look it up

The Chicago Cubs. That is the easiest. They are getting close to the 100 year mark.

Telling Mr. "I can't be bothered" to go look it up himself makes the RESPONDENT weak?

Pathetic. And I don't go to that descriptor very often.

The answer, already given, is the Chicago Cubs, and since you're not a baseball fan that's all you need to know. Hope you lose the bet anyway.

The Cubs haven't won since 1908 and last in the series in 1945.

There are four teams that have yet to make it - Rangers, Mariners, Devil Rays and Nationals. Of that group, the Rangers have been around the longest at 47 years.

If you're looking at teams who have made it there at least once, then it's the Cubs, who haven't been there in 62 years. Their last appearance came in 1945, when they lost Game 7 at home to the Tigers.
