In high school? College? If so, how was the experience?

my brother is in marching band and soon i will be too and wow what an experience. The rush when you first get a new song or the first time you march out onto the field and see everyone. And when your in the stands the reaction people have to the music you play is amazing. I know this sounds nerdy, but i seriously think its really fun and actually great exercise.

Yes, in the 9th grade. I swear I went to band camp (get all the laughs out now) and the hardest thing for me to do was get the marching and playing the instrument thing down. At the time I thought it could not be done. But that what practice was for. I only did it for one year, then I quit cause I heard we were getting a new band director. It was a unique experience, I can say!

in 9th to 11th grade i played alto sax and in 12th grade i played bass guitar. marching band was one of the reasons i didn't drop out of high school

yes middle school i did not like it though. especially when we had to march on really hot days in long sleeve white t shirts black vests and long black pants! lol
