I turned 40 yesterday and when I got up I ran a search on limewire. searched video "bon jovi"
someone out there had something called MOSCOW MUSIC FOR PEACE you cant miss it it is 2 hours long.

It took all night to download.

I didnt know this but in 1989 after the wall fell they lit the torch in the olympic stadium in moscow and put on "moscows woodstock" the lines were 4 or 5 miles long for tickets.

the bands are SKIDROW CINDERELLA and BON JOVI

and as much as i liked the music........ what really struck me was the people they interviewed between the songs and watching the crowd and how they were just going nuts about freedom.

nothing like this had ever been allowed before.

but in the spirit of peace it was.... Its worth the space on a computer...... Its powerful. Wolf

It is amazing how we take our freedom for granted.
Yes, I was in High School in the 80's.
Also just like you, I turned 40 this year.
I have to say that I feel pretty good, still very active and actually had someone yesterday, think that I was 28 (I did not have to pay her for the compliment!). Most of my fellow classmates feel great also. I think we all have taken pretty good care of ourselves.
The 80's were a great time! Looking back at the outfits though.....definitely glad that style is gone.
