We used to watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show in full regalia occasionally at the university I went to. I suspect we weren't allowed to do it more often because it was a chore to clean up all the mess we made.
"Is it Jello yet?"

Haven't been to it in years, but they ran it midnight, every friday night here in Coconut Grove for at least 10 years. People would line up in costume with their bags of weiners, toast and rice about 2 hours ahead of time, we went several times, it was always a blast. My son was in Ireland last semester for school, and he went to see it there- the theater group came in costume, and did a lot of the dance numbers on stage along with the film.

Virgins in the back row!!!
I haven't seen a live show in years! The last time was in college, more than 10 years ago. Of course I dressed up and acted out the scenes, etc. Oh, such fun!

I went a couple of times when I was in Berkeley in 1983. Yes people dressed up and danced. I didn't bring anything to throw though (or any other props). A lot of other people did!!

I saw it on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood in1980. I sat in the third row, wearing a three piece suit. Hilarity ensued every other second the crew yelled "Rice!" True story.

I saw it in Brighton this year, was fab! Loved the music, dancing and costumes. No rice, but a few girls undies were thrown at Brad from the front row :)

I went to my first one years ago and i have to say I was called a virgin (as they call it) because I didn't know what to expect. I must say I was amused by it and had never seen anything like it in my entire life. I went back years later and got to join in on the fun since I was experienced now.Im glad you enjoyed yours too.
