I've been doing a lot of travelling recently and when I get of the train I'm well and truly ready for my bed but when I get there bang wide awake. I have MS but I don't think it has anything to do with that. Any ideas

Try to get into a bedtime routine.
At least an hour before you go to bed start to wind down, turn off the TV and the computer as looking at the screens can stimulate your brain and make it harder to get to sleep. Have a warm bath or shower, get into cosy PJ's, get yourself a warm caffeine free drink and read for a little while, choose a book that's easy to pick up and put down as you don't want to get engrossed in it. When you go to bed, if you are finding it difficult to relax, try a simple relaxation exercise. My favourite is to start with my fingers and toes, clench and unclench the muscles there a few times then the same with calves and forearms, thighs and upper arms, then stomach and last shoulders and neck. Sometimes relaxation music can be useful, this varies from person to person, what lulls one person to sleep can irritate another but it might be worth looking around for something that you like.

Make sure your bed is as comfortable as possible and that your bedroom looks and feels relaxing.

No good ideas , but you could try this ,, they sell these bubble making machines in the fish section of the quick mart department store ,, set it on a stand by your bed and leave the tubes off of it , It vibrates and makes a noise , the hope is it will lull you to sleep

I can't sleep either, even though I'm exhausted (hence why I'm on here)
