in your opinion..tell me about a guy/diva that when you first saw him/her you thought: "How in the world this guy wrestle?" and after a period(you choose how long!!) you said: "He/She seems pretty good"..
A wrestler that throughout his/her career, your opinion on him/her had a improved positively from the beginning to the end(or the present)..
It would be better to choose a wrestler that he/she is in the wrestling business more than 5 years...

ALSO:Do this vice versa if you want..!!Name a wrester that you thought he/she was cool at the beginning and your opinion changed negatively.

When I first saw Trish Stratus, all she was was eye candy. She couldn't wrestle worth a crap. But over the years she worked her azz off to learn wrestling moves and went on to become one of the greatest womens wrestlers of all time. Also, I've seen footage of Bret Hart wrestling with his dad back in the 70's in Calgary Stampede wrestling. He wasn't very good in those matches but worked his azz off and went on to become possibly the greatest technical wrestler of all time.

Edit: I liked Batista when he first came out but then I found out how he treats his fans. And I also found out what he said recently about his wife in his biography. He really is a piece of trash.

The Rock, Steve Austin and Triple H were awful when they first started. Horrible gimmicks and eventually evolved into some of the greatest wrestlers of our time. Please god I hope no newbie wrestling fans pick posers like Cena or CM Punk Conversely, I'd say that Kane and The Giant aka Big Show were awesome when they first started, and the past 5 years have turned into complete jokes. Great question, btw!

Edge! I am not a huge fan of his but, when he came I thought he would be a MCFL. Then he broke out from Gangrel and all of a sudden became a huge hit with Christian. Christian soon left and then Edge started to become a huge star! Then after a while he is main eventing! And he is a former 3 time World champ!

Ok, he was good but I thought he would break from the shadows and win a title in WWF or WCW. Yeah I'm talking about Scott Hall! Scott Hall had great potential and was a good wrestler. But, he oversold moves(which isn't that bad) then he started drinking and stuff. That's what messed his career up!

Orton no doubt. when he first started wrestling, i he was just another guy with no talent who got the job cause of his daddy. I few years down the road and he is one of the most talented wrestlers in the business. His improvement has been unbeilevable.

On the flip side, i thought ultimate warrior had a chance to be something. I knew immediately that he could not wrestle, but he came off good and was strong, so i figured that maybe he would improve his skills. Damn was i wrong.

Zero To Hero: Kane
When I first saw Him as Isaac Yankem I thought great, another giagantic musclebound non-talented oaf foisted off upon us by McMahon. Just what I needed Giant Gonzales part deux. But then He was re-invented as Kane. And the longer His feud with The Undertaker lasted the better and better He got. Until I was up to the point, by the time of the inferno matches, of saying WOW this guy is great! And that's the opinion I have had of Him ever since.
Hero To Zero: Goldust
He was pretty decent as Himself on WCW but nothing special, certainly He wasn't living up to the name of his father. but when He went to WWE at first The Goldust gimmick was spectacular and original. He was a great heel. But over time and the changing around of the gimmick until it got staler and staler. Finally the only thing He was good for was comic relief for Bewkah. Now He's going around TNA carrying a rat. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Improved: Tomko.
When he was Christian's "Problem Solver" back in the WWE, he was just muscle. Now, he's actually a good wrestler. I think TNA and Japan have been incredible influences for him, and his current team with AJ Styles is something to see.

Gone down hill: John Cena.
Cena from 2002-2005, that was great. Then he went to RAW, and it went down hill. His rapper gimmick won him "Gimmick of the Year", and he was a definite fan-favorite on Thursday nights. Then, he was put up against heels with major followings on RAW, and the boos filtered in. Fast foward to 2007, he get's booed out of an 80,000 person arena at WrestleMania, as a babyface! That's bad.

Positive:Most improved : Trish Stratus. She came in not knowing how to wrestle, and left knowing how.
Negative: Kurt Angle. He's a great wrestler, but he went from WWE to TNA. Now TNA seems to be all about Angle.

for the people who keep saying mvp improved that makes no sense....he doesnt even wrestle that much....the guy did a lot of matches with beniot and then he hardley ever does any matches anymore...just contests and gets dq'ed or counted out in every match he wrestles in....i like him but he hasnt showed me anything but good mic skills and a couple good matches with chris benoit.......its really hard to judge someone improving in the wrestling business and the reason why its hard to do that is because its all rigged and set up....there moves are limited because creative team limits every wrestler on what moves they can perform....so in my mind no one really improves in this business for the simple fact that the whole show is an act from start to finish and its all scripted.....

Jeff Jarrett was a guy I thought was a mid-carder for life and barely was moving anywhere (if anywhere, it was down). However, him jobbing to Chyna made him go to WCW where he would become one of the biggest WCW champions at the time it was declining.

One person I thought was good was Rikishi. I thought the gimmick with his a** was funny at first, and he was a decent worker when he was a face in Too Cool. However, his heel turn sucked in WWE, his finisher changed to the Banzai Drop (he had a piledriver before), and his wrestling skills dropped dramatically.

**starred**
