Every presidential election poll has a WRITE IN slot. You can name ANYONE that is Constitutionally qualified including yourself, if eligible.

A very good question - I'd like to find out for myself! However, as an australian citizen - living in oz - I don't think I've got any chance of supporting him in the ultimate poll!
After thought - Do you think there is any chance that "Colbert 08" could become "Colbert 07" and he become a late runner in our federal elections? This would add an additional spark to our electoral milieu!

There's a little box on the ballot for write-in votes. If he gets enough he could win, but we have to get a lot of people to do that.

Do you mean for president of the US? You can always write his name in on the ballot. Let's all do that and maybe he'll win.
I just saw him on Larry King and he said that Huckabee had asked him to be his VP. Maybe you'll get a chance after all.

You can write his name in, but even if he wins he cannot be sworn in. Mr. Colbert was born in Canada.

move to South Carolina?
I honestly believe this is a publicity stunt. He can't be a serious contender and still do his show, due to the equal time rule.
