I feel so....BLAH....about my job but I make a very easy $70,000 a year and I only "work" if you want to call it that 30 hours a week.
I'm I crazy for wanting another job where I feel like I actually work? What if I change jobs and I work harder but get paid less?? What would you do?

Use your current 30 hour job to get you to the job you want. Show up, do it well, collect your paycheck and invest your life time and $$ in getting to the work you know will fit you. What a great opportunity to obtain more education, love your family more, get in great physical shape, and research your possibilities!

With the extra 20 hours you have in your week get a hobby. Or even a part time job you would WANT to do.
Something to keep a balance.
Its either stick to your job and add something on or get a new job and get paid less with less time. But you'd be mentally satisfied.
Flip a coin or make your choice. Theres many options and both sides can work out GREAT if you just held a positive outlook at both.
Because it seems both sides for you work out great. Be happy you're so lucky to have that kind of life power.

Hi,
Interesting question. According to Salary.com, the average salary in the United State is around $35,000 per year. You make about double that, but it doesn't sound like money is your main motivation. You want to be challenged.
I would suggest looking around on the Web for jobs that interest you. Figure out what they pay, what experience is required, etc. In short, it never hurts to look around. Just be sure to do it on your home computer in case the boss is looking.
I've included a few links below that may be of some help in your hunt.
Good luck!
Mike

Are you happy in your current job? Do you feel satisfied when you go home everyday? If no, then perhaps you want to look around for another job that actually makes you happy. How much would you be willing to give up to find a job that makes you look forward to going to work each day?

Yes I would give anything for a job like that!!!! But after awhile, the money wouldnt be all that important anymore and if I got bored with it I would have to move on. IF you feel like you need to get a different job to feel more accomplished, then do so. Unless you want to retire thinking "what if I had tried something else?"

i work very very hard and only earn about 12,000 a year and for now I'm content with it. but it all depends on if you are happy with the job. if you don't like it.. then it's time to change jobs. why work at a job that you don't like? you're better off doing something you enjoy, even if it means a paycut. if you need something that challenges you then go for it!

holiday - definite, yet in basic terms for ninety days. stay - no, you could no longer stay for better than ninety days and not utilizing a visa and you could no longer get a visa until eventually you have a job or is regularly occurring to a college. and not utilizing a visa, no person will lease an place of residing to you and inspite of a visa the minimum term of lease is two years. There are some places that rents out place of residing for the quick term, yet in basic terms for vacationer and that i've got in no way heard of any that rents out for in basic terms a million year. you're able to look into language colleges which might settle for foreigners. in case you have been regularly occurring, you're able to qualify for a student visa which in turn could assist you to stay in Japan in the time of your study. yet understand that when you end, you're able to go away.

What's more important to you? Working at a challenging job that you enjoy, or making more money? Once you decide the answer to that question, you will know what you need to do.
