Only to find out that the 10 points went to someone else?

When you've given it you best .... when you've limped over to the keyboard & poured it all out onto P&S and you made the Gipper Proud ....... you just leave it all in the database and limp proudly away ... with your poor arthitic fingers spasming.
you think to yourself.... I don't need no stinking 10 points .... I'm an artist.

Yeah a lot of times but i also get the reverse of that sometimes. (When i give a short answer because i'm too lazy to type at those times but i get chosen as best answer in spite of others who gave a longer and more well thought out one). In the end, it's all good.

Not really. I never even look back at the questions I've answered except if I do get best answer. Then I often wonder why. I always give the best answer I can.

Why do you think I write novels as answers? If it is a serious question I will give my best. And if you read the whole thing you will probably know more than you ever wanted to.

The ones that baffle me are when there are several good answers and I make some off the wall comment such as " Why Not?" and then I get voted best answer.

Yeah I hate that.. but come on now.. I bet some of those qeustions was just to kill time that why i answer select people questions..
