I told my son he is getting too old to go for the candy and maybe next year we can go for that or some other local charity. He was agreeable as long as I buy him some myself. I figure that would be okay.

Yes, when I was a kid I did. Two of mygfrandkids did it this year.

We did that as kids, I remember carrying those little U.N.I.C.E. F. boxes with us from door to door. It may have been when we were in Girl Scouts.
