i turned on my computer, it asks for my password but then the windows doesnt show up?

is it virus? i am vista user.

did you change you password? if not here is a trick. Temporarily disconnect your hard drive. Turn on your computer. Then turn it off then hook up your hard drive again and turn on your computer again. Your computer will think you have installed new hardware and will use the windows software on your PC automatically.
