The government has ignored the will of the people on the war in Iraq and it looks like the will of the people is going to be ignored on illegal immigration and children's health care. Both Bush and Hillary seem to agree that the US citizen isn't smart enough to know what it is they want.

In regards to what? And which citizens - all 300 million of them? This question needs more information or commentary, or it doesn't really make a lot of sense.

It hasn't just turned its back, it is at war with us. We spend more to put people in prison than to educate. They ignore what we vote for, if they don't agree. Bush used our grief, fear and outrage over 9/11 against us to further his own agenda, which has put us further in harms way. We now have mideasterners minding our ports. Should I go on?

Absolutely.
They don't even care what Americans think anymore.
They think that with the right spin doctoring they can say the grass is blue and the sky is green and the people will believe them. Sadly, in most cases they are right.
