TG (below) In the House and Senate, the greater supporters were Dems while the greater opposers were Repubs. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Bush and a chosen few (McCain) ALSO are pro ILLEGAL ALIEN amnesty.

I'm puzzled about why people are blaming the amnesty issue on Democrats when its biggest backer was president Bush? I've read this a number of times. Can anyone explain?

We are in one sorry state of affairs if the crop of current candidates from both parties is the best we can do for ourselves. President Bush was just as guilty as the dems being in favor of amnesty for illegals and Hillary if elected will blunder her way around in Iraq refusing to withdrawal all the combat troops. She's in favor of leaving "some" there, which will only lead to escalation. We can't get out of Iraq, our new embassy has us anchored there with a golden chain.

Not if you vote Colbert - otherwise, yes. Colbert won't win, but he'll be a focus point where we can vote to dismiss the major parties. All he has to do is take enough votes to force change - if we all wrote him in, a truer representation of those who are fed up would emerge.

A Reaganesque figure.

Who will be pro-illagal alien amnesty like the Dems.

Like Reagan was w/ 30 million aliens in 1986.

You can always throw your vote away on some left-field party, which is what got Bush into office in the first place. That and having his brother running the election sham in Fla.

You've guessed it. I'd love to hear some questions at these debates dealing with enacting the laws that we presently have on the books when dealing with illegals!

You need to catch up to the rest of the class. The Bush repeds like amnesty too.

TG: Conservatives don't care about facts. They just regurgitate the slogans their programmers feed them. Hope that explains everything you need to know.
