I have been on the phone for over an hour with Sprint because of THEIR mistake on a recent change to my account. I have been passed from person to person, put on hold several times and told different and inaccurate information from each agent. I go out of my way to be nice to service people and my fiance is an excellent customer service rep so I know they aren't all like that---but how exasperatiing it is to deal with stupid people???? I am about to pull my hair out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold (purposely) for what seemed like forever.

They rush their employees in training of company procedure and policy's .....
I have worked in retail ( as a sales associate ) for the past 26 years....when i was first hired we trained for a week with a person conducting the class. The next week we were sent down to the sales floor with a buddy , who would help you if you needed assistance....Now a new hire is giving training on the computer for a couple of days and sent to the floor and you get a buddy that will help you out....
Same thing happens in training customer service reps...they are rush through training and are some times are incompetent.....

Customer service reps are trained to resolve problems one way - the way that is best for the company they work for. The CSR's you talk to when you first call in usually are not able to do much for you, especially if it involves giving some of the company's money back. So next time you don't get the service you want or need with the first person you speak to, ask for their supervisor instead of waiting on the line for what seems like hours.

Ask to speak to their supervisor. I have found that way to be much more effective. You will get done quicker.

If your calling overseas, ask to speak to someone in the USA.
