I guess, but why would you want to do that? Breastfeeding is so easy because you don't have to prepare a bottle.

Talk to your doctor. I am sure you can, but in order to build your supply it is best to nurse both day and night. If you work at night, try to pump and give him breastmilk in a bottle. You can always pump and have someone else feed him a bit at night, so you can sleep more. Breastmilk is the best for your little one. If you can, don't give up.

you can but why?

that is the greatest thing about breastfeeding honey!....you don't have to do much other than whip out that boob and feed baby while you doze off in your rocker or laying down in your bed....whichever you prefer

why introduce that junk to your precious breastfed baby??...if you begin to give him formula you could very well upset his little tummy and have a very fussy and sleepless baby on your hands

breast is best at the moment cos if you're happy breastfeeding in the day, then at night, you're going to fill up with milk and get abscesses and just be REALLY uncomfortable,so I wouldn't mix the two sorts of milk x

yep;my wife did not produce much and the baby never latched and she would pump what she could during the day so that the baby could get the immunities from the breasstmilk and then we would feed him formula ; try formula for "fussy and gassy babies" because they claim "colic" for so many babies that just need a gentle formula and some tummy time .......

You can but it will hurt your milk supply. I tried doing that, my supply went down and my son loved how easy the bottle was that he eventually started refusing the breast. we had to switch to formula full time.

Yep you're the mom you can do whatever works best for you. Just as long as he is eating all is good. However if you go all night with out expressing milk in some way it could cause issues for you!

You can but it takes more effort to mix a bottle of formula then to pop your nipple in his mouth. And it will hurt your supply as well.

I have given my daughter formula from day two from the hospital because my breast milk has not come in yet so i had to feed her so the hospital give me the two oz milk bottles

and if you wanted to sleep at night then give him formula or you pump at night time and give to your baby.

If you wanted to product more breast milk drink more water and every time you breast feed your son drink water
and when you sleep it will increase your breast-milk and you still can breast feed your son in the mid of the night...
