I live fairly close to Topeka,and we've been dealing with these idiots for years,and the best way to deal with them is to just start crowding them.They always freak out and think they're being attacked and run away.Of course they then write batshiat crazy letters to the papers and post videos "proving" the sodomites are trying to kill them,but that just adds to the hilarity.
But,no,they shouldn't be banned,just pointed at and made fun of...

No. The First Amendment applies to lunatics like them as well as to anyone else. However if Fred Phelps were to be "accidentally" pummelled to a pulp by a gang of people in masks, I doubt any jury would convict.
The sad thing is, millions of conservatives agree with their crackpot views.

I may not agree with what they say but I will defend their right to say it, no matter how much it makes me sick.
If we start censoring any type of speech we take that first step to a complete fascist society.
