Bullocks! first of all, MAS has 60,000 militia and that incorporates that IP's. Your assertion with regards to the "unproven Iraqi militia" is fake. maximum of them have already been in try against and characteristic been effectual, particularly once you think approximately that there will be a BDE of Kurds dwon here with in the subsequent month. We did no longer persue the Mahdi militia on the request of the Iraqi government and that replaced right into a extensive tactical errors. Now, with the help of the Iraqi government, we are allowed to run them into the floor and could accomplish that over the subsequent various months. Will there be an develop in the loss of life toll? fairly, based on the reality that our try against optempo is approximately to extend great time. it fairly is nonetheless a conflict in Baghdad so all and sundry is in simple terms going to could get the hell over it and do each thing we can to win!

It depends on who you ask. The democrats are so invested in defeat that you're apt to get most any answer - except any type of vindication or support.
It must be very painful for them to get all of this encouraging news after the rhetoric they've been spewing out for the last few years.
Perhaps they'll learn in the future to keep their words soft and sweet - it'll be a lot easier when they have to eat them.

No! Nothing can ever vindicate those who have died or those who are left minus an arm, leg, eyes etc, over a war that should not have been started in the first place! General Petraus gave the answer that was expected of him to his Commander In Chief, I don't blame him, his career was on the line!

Twenty Decapitated Bodies Found Near Baqouba In Iraq -AFP
BAGHDAD (AFP)--Iraqi police on Monday found 20 decapitated bodies near Baqouba, northeast of Baghdad, a few hours after a suicide bomber killed 28 policemen in the restive city, a security official said.
"Iraqi police found 20 decapitated corpses of men killed recently near a village called Gsrine, west of Baqouba city," the official told AFP.

Vindication? No.
I believe John McCain coined the term "wack a mole"
edit: I agree with geegee. I don't blame Petraeus for being forced to do a political sell job to Congress which was the President's responsibility.

it depends on how much they decline...
if I have five straight months of increased income... it doesn't mean I'm rich... I could have had $1 of income the first month... and earned one dollar more each month... at the end, I would still only be earning $15 total...
you need to look at the numbers and compare them to what you could consider "doing well"...
as I understand it... we're back to 2006 troop death totals... didn't seem like we were "winning" back then at the time?

390 troop deaths in the past 5 months (the total for October is not complete, yet).
The same five months of last year there were 369 deaths.
Is that much of an improvement????
