I watched WCW a few times and i thought it was good but i watched WWF more because Kane was my favorite. If WCW was still around today i would watch it in an instant with what WWE is putting on these days.

funny you should ask, i was a DIE HARD wwf fan. i would do anything 2 watch wwe over wcw BUT my brother had jumped ship and became a wcw fan and insisted we watch nitro and since at that time we only had cable on that 1 tv, there was a monday night war every monday at my house as well. good thing in the end wwe won and nitro was out 4 good.

Due to the fact that my cable company didn't carry USA channel until about the middle of the Wars, I didn't get to see all of the WWF's side of it. I watched WCW every week, and when my cable company added USA I watched WCW and the WWF equally. I had two VCRs so I wouldn't miss either one.

WCW. Even back then I realized that WCW wrestlers spent less time yapping and more time performing. Plus the early part of the NWO run was great to watch. Hell I remember when Bischoff being powerbombed off the WCW stage was one of the biggest bumps I'd ever seen. Now everything's watered down, and even when they pull a big spot it's not that exciting.

Had to go to bars to watch {back then few had 2 TVs} Nitro had the best show for most of the Wars, we designate a channel switcher for commercial time, MN-Football had veto rights if home team was playing, Later cable got better, for home viewing, VCR recorded one, and always tried to watch before morning, WWE improved near the end, overtaking, but Nitro was the one not to miss {from start to 80% of nights} WWE would have a {don't want to miss} match or two per. show, the final {20% of nights} WWE was breaking new ground {I use the term got "raunchy"} being dirty and sexual, and Nitro was pushing the violence, like using the cattle "stun-gun" prod. but both had great shows, up to the wars end with Vince taking Nitro.
Even today I hate Raw on MN-Football nights if game is good.

I had like gary's cable, and that Bishoff bump, thought he died or was broken in two, even the time Rey was thrown into the trailer, bumps were real hurtful bumps, Rey's bump developed respect, creating the giant killer, but the Rey Connan mexican mofia was heartfeltly hated.

WWF ... mainly because they ad original programming back then. WCW brought in WWF wrestlers, pretty much those who were washed up in my opinion in most cases.

WCW ,I quit watching wwf when the Rockers broke up and they started pushing HBK as a gay wrestler and gave him the title

I tried to watch it every now and then

I started watching it again when the Invasion came along

Back then, I was in a group of friends at my high school that got together to watch them. Usually we just watched one, and flipped when they went to commecial, then fliipped back when that one went to commercial. Only exception was when there was a really big match we wanted to catch (and since Nitro started an hour early for most of the wars, it made it pretty easy to find out at the start of each show what was going to be on).

Both. Watched Nitro and taped Raw.

WCW. The talent was better and so were the scripts. Today, Vince is rehashing old scripts from dead federations.
