Basa is catfish so that may be more helpful to you in finding out. Avoid things like Shark (hake), Marlin, swordfish, king markeral, tilefish and lots of Tuna because of higher mercury content.

Fish that eat other fish (some are vego's!) are the ones to avoid as they absorb the mercury from the fish they eat as well as the mercury they produce themselves!! As well as fish caught and living in a more polluted environment. Also the bigger the fish the older it is and the more likely to have a build up a mercury.

Best of luck and enjoy your fish!

Edit - I just read that catfish has a higher mercury content as well of 0.15ppm and that Salmon is a good fish to eat as it also has the omega 3's. The article also said that the above fish on the 'no eat' list can be consumed but no more than once a month so as not to build up the mercury in your system. eating it once or twice is not going to brain damage your child.
"You can safely eat 12 ounces per week of cooked fish," the FDA advisory states. "You can choose shellfish, canned fish, smaller ocean fish, or farm-raised fish -- just pick a variety of different species."
In addition, you may want to avoid prepared fish salads and smoked fish because of the increased risk of listeriosis infection."
