It took a few times reading it, and re-reading it. And analyzing sentences, but eventually I didn't understand what you were trying to say.
You are saying the same thing that most republicans have been saying for years now. That we need to fight the the iraq's inorder to keep the safety of our nation. And that since the liberal's don't want the war, then the Iraqi's would cause alot of damage to our country. There was alot simpler way of saying that..,
I stay out of the war issue. I choose not to have a strong view point on whether we should be in it or not. I figure that me sitting here, in my own little secluded world, far away from the issue, doesn't really know enough about it to have a valid opinion.

What your republican / Democratic /religious leaders are not telling you is that there is a common ground between us all, it is just not profitable to resolve the problem. I WILL. When we start making a living off of living, instead of off of so much that is destructive, things can start to work out. When we start giving people purpose in life again, that will help the situation that much more. I promise you, I can prove, The current u.s.politicians are not only guilty of crimes against humanity, they are guilty of crimes against nature, and they do it for profit. We should build more grocery stores, change our routes of food delivery, get the food closer to the people.Wouldn't that help our fuel over-consumption? We could also change our zoning / insurance laws to allow and then even encourage people to live closer to work. Who reading this really enjoys sitting in the the traffic jams? Liberty and the per suite of happiness have been put before our unalienable right to life. Freedom has been perverted. Who gives the auto manufacture to build these cars to go over 5o m.p.h.? And where will you be going when the drunkard hits you head on? Why can't we just see. And It's not only where they are leading us, It is also where will we be led. This usa is a major power, and look at what we are doing. Look at where we have been led. United we could stand, divided we are falling. The common ground is life. All the money in the world will give you nothing when we destroy our skies. When it comes to government, we need to be led by knowledge, not faith. You can believe that you have the ability to fly, but if you jump off a cliff without a parachute, well, you know.

This is the most ridiculous, twisted, confounded piece of logic I've ever heard.
If you're a follower of Jesus, why are the labels "liberal" and conservative" so important to you? Jesus said in this world we (as Christians) will have trouble, but take heart for He has overcome this world (John 16:33).
Our enemies are thugs named Al Qaeda that committed a crime against the U.S. on 9/11 and deserve to be brought to justice.
Another thought...if you're tired of the argument of "Jesus was a liberal" argument against Republicans, why not focus less on Republicans and more on Christ?
Jesus also said that we will hear wars and rumors of wars, but we should not be alarmed. (Matthew 24:6). We should not be alarmed because He is in control.
One poster said Jesus was conservative because He obeyed the OT law. That misses the point entirely.
Jesus didn't just obey the laws--He surpassed them. He showed that the Pharisees were trying to be "conservative" by living very very tightly to the law, and He made it clear that man can't be good enough by living by the law. Romans 3:20 says that "no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin." And that's the way Jesus lived, showing that you can't be good enough for God by living out the OT law.
And that was a very liberal viewpoint among the conservative Pharisees of Jesus' day.

The world is no different from how it was in Jesus' day. In fact Jesus lived in a land occupied under force by the world hegemon of the day, yet he didn't foster any kind of resistance or insurgency or liberation movement.
Now think about that for a minute, mr. Conservative. If our land was occupied by the Iraqis rather than the other way around, and we had none of the basic liberties we Americans have taken for granted for the last couple of hundred years, and in fact we had all our lives lived in desperate poverty because the wealth of our country was being systematically stolen from us, do you think Americans would just take that lying down? See it as God's will? I sure don't think so. I would fight, I don't know about you. But Jesus wouldn't! Give to Caesar that which is Caesar's, he said. My kingdom is not of this world, he said (and yet he was executed for having supposedly declared himself king!)
And really it's not even about that. Jesus was liberal in a lot more ways than that. Ways having to do more with domestic policy than foreign policy.
People throughout history have used Jesus (and Thomas Jefferson) to justify all manner of terrible abuses!

No, I can't see that. But I am not a liberal. Or a conservative. So I am not blinded by hatred of my fellow Americans. And you don't have a clue what our country would be like if we were all liberals. That is like me saying if everyone was a conservative we would all be rich because everyone else would be dead. Or slaves to corporations. Turn off Rush, think for yourself a little. Will ya?

Jesus was liberal for His time, but now he'd be considered a Conservative. Times change. If our country was made up of only Liberals, who's to say they wouldn't adapt in that ten years to stand up to threats as well?

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a Democrat, and a liberal, and under his leadership the US won WWII, so it is bogus to say that only conservatives are patriotic or will fight. And in case you haven't heard, Russia is no longer communist. Keep up with the times or your arguments will sound ridiculous, because they are.

Jesus was far from being liberal , He obeyed all the Conservative laws and some very strict laws of the Jewish Faith .He also told man to obey the laws of Govt as long as they did not go against the laws of God. I wouldn't call Him Liberal .

So, using your logic - since our enemies aren't liberal, in order to fight them we need to adopt their ways? That's kind of like saying our ways aren't very good, otherwise, our enemies would become like us in order to fight us. It just doesn't make much sense.
