point being everyday another conservative pundit tries to say why should i ride a bike to work when al gore doesnt have to ride a bike from LA to new york. "he gets to fly a jet across the country and i have to ride a bike a block, well thats just not fair so screw him!"

I don't get your point. It's a weak and illogical argument.

EDIT: a lot of southern (red states) boys join the military. I have no numbers, but I doubt that the majority of US troops are Democrats.

I'm kind of republican - and unlike the stereotype in your question, I get all the exercise I need at work.
If the military is democratic, how come Gore was so intent on squashing the absentee military votes in Florida?

Right..... Since the republicans actually WORK for a living they have the RIGHT to waste that gallon of gas by going to the gym if they so choose. You're correct about one thing, they are too busy being productive.
