First check the fuses then assume it would be your light switch.

Maybe your light switch has gone bad. My 1984 Accord had the same trouble. Had to replace the part...very expensive! List price for part was $250, got on-line for $120. Installation from the dealer was about $150. Good luck.

Check the fuses. Panel and tail lamps are usually the same fuse.
