I've played many games for my PS1, PS2, and PS3 and the only games that I have played and I felt a feeling of sadness was Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.

At the end of Ico it was just so sad to see everything crumbling and falling into the ocean below when you had searched and escaped the castle. It was just sad to see it all just crumble away like it was nothing.

In Shadow of the Colossus it was a sad moment to me after I killed one of the Colossi except for the last one, it was like I felt sorry for killing them or something because you watch the Colossi take this big thunderous fall to the ground and some other Colossi just sunk below in the water.

And then at the end of Shadow of the Colossus when your character was being sucked up by the portal and you could control the character, I was like NO I can't die this way.

And one more sad moment in Shadow of the Colossus to me is when your horse falls down off of that big cliff. Somehow I just felt connected to the horse because he was all I had in the entire game. But later on near the end of the game the horse survives the fall and that made me happy though.

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are on my list of my top 10 PS2 games.

Final Fantasy VI was a very emotional game. I remember crying while playing it. Between Kefka poisoning that village and killing Cyan's family, Terra's mother dying, Gau being rejected by his father, and Celes trying to kill herself, it's an emotional roller coaster. Almost every character in the game has their own really sad experience.

Majora's Mask had some pretty sad moments too. It was pretty sad to see Darmani and Mikau die, and it was quite touching to see the girl in Ikana Valley reunite with her newly cured father. And even though I knew that they wouldn't actually die, it gave me a lump in my throat when Kafei and Anju exchanged their wedding masks on the night of the third day. They pledged to remain together forever, even though forever would only last a few more hours. *sniff*

I don't know, but the Spiderman 3 movie almost made me cry...still think they should have made Harry live in the end.

Definitely Halo and Gears of War because they just leave you wanting so much more and you develop feelings about the character and what happens to him and around him. You just want to know more.
