Depending on the individual, for me, I would prefer the latter, which is to live comfortably, to have my privacy and to live in a peaceful country. Seriously though, I don't know if it is possible to live in a peaceful country with all the stuff on war going on. It makes me sad. But for sure, to live comfortably. You look at celebrities, they are rich and famous, yet they have alot of problems, even more so than we do (because their sense of reality is far different than ours). I don't envy their lifestyle at all.

I would like to be rich, but not famous. I like my privacy. However, if I am going to be a success at what I am attempting to do, I will be famous - if I'm not, then I will not be a success at what I do. I plan on writing and performing my own music. If nobody knows who I am, then I am not a success. Maybe I'll have to buy an island somewhere if I want a little privacy.

u can be rich and famous and still have privacy. there are many "stars" that are not in the tabloids.
when was the last time bill gates was in a trashy mag?
i think the question is more based around actors that have issues...and if you were to have issues or have issues then be private....
