You mean tummy aches, as in similar to, or feels like mentrual cramps? If so then this is normal. I had cramps for the first 2 mths of pregnancy. It always felt like my period was about to come, but never did.
My doctor told me this was normal, because the uterus was just stretching to make space for the baby.
If you are having severe cramps and bleeding, then please go the ER.

I'm 8 weeks now, and I remember thinking for about 3-4 weeks that I was going to get my period...surprise surprise, it never came! Light cramping is normal...just feels like you're getting your period in a bit. If the pain is excruciating, and there's blood, then it's time to worry. I heard that it's not good to start off thinking about miscarrying, it will cause you to worry your entire pregnancy. That stress is not something you or your baby need right now. Good luck and congrats!

I had all sorts of tummy pains within the first few weeks of pregnancy. It was my pelvic bones loosening and then my uterus stretching. I was totally freaked out but it turned out to be normal. Try not to worry until your appointment. I know it is extremely hard, but unless there is bleeding, tummy pain is normal.
