Yes absolutely - I like to get it nice and shiny so that it is smooth to the touch and quite firm - I might rub it quite a lot before I offer it to someone - maybe you for a quick bite - I like to see the juice as you bite into it!!

After I wash it, I rub it until it gets nice and shiny --- even the ones fresh off the tree that I picked a couple of weeks ago... YUM!

Yeah. I rinse it, then I wipe it with a napkin, and then I peel it bc I dont like apple skin lol.

Luckily I'm not a Top-Liner, but it did put me in mind of "Why do women always rub their eyes when they wake up?"

Only on special ocassions. I always polish my bishop just before i play chess though.
