How to be a good democrat anyone can be a democrat just simply quit thinking and vote that way. but if you want to be a good democrat you have to believe the following.
Aids virus spread by a lack of federal funding.
the same teacher who cant teach fourth graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex
That guns in the hands of law abiding citizens are more of a threat than us nuclear weapons technology in the hands of chinese communist
that there was no art before federal funding
Global temperatures are less effected cyclical documented changes in the earths climate and more effected by yuppies driving suv's
that businesses create oppression and government creates prosperity
that hunters do not care about nature but loony activist from seattle do
that self esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it
that the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the constitution while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the constitution
that hillary clinton is really a lady
the only reason socialism has not worked because the right people have not been in charge
that gay pride parades should be protected but manger scenes at christmas should be illegal
the illegal democratic party funding by the chinese is somehow in the best interest of the united states
Also if you look at who is funding democrats you will find it to be big business more on the democratic side the a shift has occurred and there are many factors for it also there are far more wealthy millionaire liberals democrates now than there are conservatives.

Never vote Republican. Just look at all of the horrible things the Republicans have done, then look at all of the Republicans that blindly defend pedophiles, war criminals, racist pundits, etc.. Are these really the people you want to be lumped in with?
The Dems aren't perfect either but they at least have their **** together and don't rely on school yard tactics to push their agenda. Dems are for bettering our country and helping the people of this country. The Republicans strictly oppose any/all programs that would help Americans. They only care about pumping money into wealthy corporations and ignoring the small man, which if $250 a month for health insurance is a lot for you, then you should know better then to support any Republican candidate. They aren't looking to help you. The most recent debates are basically the Reps trying to out gun each other for which country they're going to invade and essentially send our country even further into debt.
Good luck!

it comes down to a philosophy. a liberal philosophy which is basicly, bigger more intrusive government or a conservetive government of states and individual rights. a liberal philosophy with a socialistic agendea or a conservetive capitalistic view.
the problem is, these days, the so-called conservetives act just like the liberals and there isnt that much difference between the two parties.
social "hot button" issues like abortion rights are irrelevent.
i am leaning towards mccain on the repos side and think biden is the best the demos have. him or edwards. DONT TOUCH HILLARY! she is straight up evil.
1 there is a safety net of health care in the system already. if more people who cant pay would use the county systems in place, and not go to the emergency rooms, like all illegal aliens do, the problem would be helped. also the people have to get off mal practice law suites.
2 we are in iraq and better come out of it the best way possible. nothing is lost yet. and bowing to leftist uneducated opinions will create a disaster. mccain is the only candidate that is making since about iraq!
3 the public school system is a failed institution. sure, put the kids on rettelin....never mind im not going into all that is wrong with this institution but it goes back to individuals blaming everyone else for their failures. screw the public school system!

dude, health care is a personal responsibility, not the govs. job, cost is determined by the market. don't like the price, don't buy the product.I have no desire to spend my$$ for you or your kids.point 2, every war is a mess.ww2 ended in 1945,we still have troops in germany and japan. point3,education is a mess because of the gov. control and the nea( teachers union) . they do not give a sh*it about the kids.their goal is $$$.you are wasting your time pursuing a teaching career unless you will be happy with about $ 45,000 (start) for a part time job.hey 3 mos. off during summer -you could start a business.why vote republican-less gov. intrusion and you get to keep more of your income.what a concept!

you should vote for the people ,not just the pres., that you feel will take the contry where you want it to go. most people that have no health care choose not to enroll in a federal or state program or not to pay the cost.
iraq is bad at the best. doing nothing brings back memories of pearl harbor. but if you go to war go to war to win!
the education system with no incentives is a great point, now compare that to a health care system with no incentives.

When I have been asked this question before I always say start Bi-Partisan. Do your research, include current events. Now with the internet there is a wealth of knowledge at your finger tips. I use Google. Keep up with information, not polls. Look at the current pack. ?
My vote is for John McCain. I look at experience, background, values and tenacity. AND International "concerns" are #1 in my priority list. He is the only one I feel suited to protect & serve given the volatile leaders waiting to pounce and their goals toward Super Power Status. Domestic issues like abortion & immigration have been around for decades. We have legislature to help there.

Thank you. Vote responsibly. Not just REpublican OK :))
edit : kind of embarrasing reading some of the answers... oh well politics brings out the best in everyone, doesn't it?

I totally agree with #3. I wouldn't teach high school no matter what the pay anymore. I know a couple people who went to teach high school and ended up quitting. They said it was too dangerous, people (students, parents, and other teachers) didn't care, and that they got fed up with trying to fight people in administration.

...you should vote for the candidate that supports your beliefs. Study the issues and study the candidate, their qualifications, their "track-record" on issues... the veracity of their word and is that candidate going to responsible, transparent and trustworthy... Democratic or Republican has little to do with it.

1) Mine is $450 for a family I pay it gladly since my wife's brain surgery.
2) The only way to keep it stable is to wait for the Iraqis to get up to speed.
3)Agree to a point. The problem with listening to those liberal professors of yours is why can't they make it in the business world?
