Can anyone simplify step by step: (sec x + csc y) / (1 + tan x) ???

(sec x + csc y) / (1 + tan x)
=(1/cos x+1/sinx) / (1 +sinx/cos x)
= (sin x +cos x)/(sin x cos x) / (cos x+sinx)/cos x
= (sinx +cosx)/(sincosx) * cosx/(sinx+cosx)
= 1/sin x= cscx
