The instrument in the clip is a clarinet.
It is being played in the lower part of its range. The clarinet player on the clip has a beautiful tone on the instrument... not an easy thing to do!
It is a wonderful, expressive instrument and is particularly suited for that style of music.

Clarinet
Possibly a soprano sax, but it mostly sounds like a clarinet.
