how do you take songs off our ipod?

i cant seem to figure it out and my ipod is filling up. lus i want to put.
also, is there a way to auto sync the ipod when i add a cd on itunes, and when i connect ipod to computer?

To take the songs off your iPod, go to your iTunes library and see where there's a little checked box next to each song? Uncheck the boxes of the songs that you want to get off.
To auto sync when you connect iPod to computer, connect your iPod and on that main page press the Automatically sync iPod box.
