Karl Marx didn't lead anything. He wrote some books. He would have been horrified to see all the suffering that happened in his name because of the butchers Lenin, Stalin and Mao. He imagined a violence free, class free society, not oppression and mass slaughter.

No. He led nothing. Just sat around all day and conjured up misguided social theory. While he claimed to despise capitalism, Karl Marx hated to work and would have starved to death had it not been for financial support he received from his capitalist father.
