Why buy cds?

I agree, CDs have lost their functional value, when there are so many better options that save you money.

I don't use Limewire, the quality of the tracks isn't good. I use Rhapsody, which is only 15 dollars a month, and you can dowload as much songs as you want! Not like iTunes, which you pay for every single track, which would be even more expensive than buying a bunch of CDs. Rhapsoy is a much better option than both.

To find what cant be found on limewire. You can't find EVERY track on limewire. Besides, some people dont have access to the internet, so that may be a reason.

Because. Everyone needs a sence of culture. And CDs are perfect peices of culture. They give you personality too. You can show off your collection to people. You can connect with people. And plus, why do you think they still make CDs? Uh, well, because when you buy the CD, you get more than a gay download. You get authentic lyrics, pictures, and most importantly, AUTHENTIC MUSIC!!!

i buy cds if i really like the artist. i dont do limewire thought bc it crashed my computer. but it i absolutly love the artist, i want the money to go to them. not just free

becouse limewire gives you TON of viruses 2 of my computers has shut down from it

if an artist is on a small label/independently distributed etc then it is a way of showing support to the artist
