yes, seeing as it's halloween...be careful what you decide to be on Halloween because in a blink if an eye, it can become reality...I have ghost stories but they are way to long to write on this answer..a short one..once upon a time my sister decided to move into an apartment in a small town in WV..she went out to get cleaning supplies and left me in the apt..I had an unusual feeling of fear come over me and to leave the kitchen where I was working and went down the winding stairs to the bottom and sat and waited for her to come back...there was also a door that kept closing shut even when I would prop it open. ultimately, after her moving into the apt she saw all kinds of ghosts and had different sightings. I normally don't even believe in ghosts but when I feel a presence, you can bet they are close...take care....

A True Australian ghost story


This story happened a while ago in Brisbane, and even though it sounds like an Alfred Hitchcock tale, it's true.

John Bradford, a Sydney University student, was on the side of the road hitch hiking on a very dark night and in the midst of a storm.

The night was rolling on and no car went by. The storm was so strong he could hardly see a few feet ahead of him. Suddenly he saw a car slowly coming towards him and stopped. John, desperate for shelter and without thinking about it, got in the car and closed the door, just to realise there was nobody behind the wheel and the engine wasn't on!

The car started moving slowly. John looked at the road and saw a curve approaching. Scared, he started to pray, begging for his life. Then, just before he hit the curve, a hand appeared through the window and turned the wheel. John, paralysed with terror, watched how the hand repeatedly came through the window but never harmed him.

Shortly thereafter John saw the lights of a pub down the road so, gathering strength, jumped out of the car and ran to it. Wet and out of breath, he rushed inside and started telling everybody about the horrible experience he had just experienced.

A silence enveloped the pub when everybody realised he was crying and …... wasn't drunk.

Suddenly two other people walked into the same pub. They, like John, were also wet and out of breath. Looking around and seeing John Bradford sobbing at the bar, one said to the other, "Look, Bruce …… there's that f*cking idiot that got in the car while we were pushing it."

Then seriously one night i woke up during the night half asleep and the bottom half of my room was bright blue with a bright white ball floating in the air but as i was half asleep i couldnt work it out but i didnt think much of it and fell back asleep in the morning i thought more about it i thought it was my dad as he had only died maybe 2 months prior suddenly and i had been crying in the bath that night so i felt kind of warm inside anyways i went to see a clairvoyiant Mary white and she told me you have seen an orb recently but it wasnt who you thought i was your mum (my mum died of a heart attack 7 yrs previous). kinda spooky it really took my breath away!

True story, i was baby sitting (of course) and I was laying down with the kids on a couch, facing the tv that was turned off, behind me was an open area, but at my head, that part of the couch was against a wall. (hope you can picture what I am saying) anyways, I heard something make a noise in the kitchen, so because I was so scared I shut my eyes and pretended to sleep, when I opened them I looked in the reflection of the tv and saw a man walk by. At first I thought it was a robber. But than when i thought about where he walked, he walked behind me and dissapeared into the wall by my head! seriously! I almost peed my pants.,

There's a haunted house I work at, where people actually died in a fire, and one guy hung himself. It's pretty cool. I get creeped out after hours though, when they're shutting down the place at night. I can't stand being in there alone.

You know any good ones? I'm trying to remember all those Urban Legends I use to hear as a kid. Bloody Mary's the only one I can remember.

true story- my dad actually saw the ghost of the woman who used to live in my house..He never saw her in person because she dies before the house was sold, my my dad asked the neighbors next door to describe what she looked like. It matched what he saw! From what my dad said, some sort of a force wolk him up in the middle up the night, and the ghost was just standing there. He believes she was just checking up on us, he never saw her again. lol I was creeped out

there was this girl who was very very stubborn and she didn't listen to her parents ever.one day she was watching t.v and her parents came up to her and told her lock all the doors and windows b/c there was a crazy mad man on the loose.They were telling on the news.so,basically she didn't listen to them....later when she was going to bed she went to the washroom and when she looked in the mirror she say her dog hanging from the door.then she turned forward and say a man with a bat in his hand..leaning his head side to side..when her parents came home they found her....dead....

once i woke up and a strange man was coaxing me to come outside and my neibors house was burned down the man was a arsonist
