They should receive the punishment 2x or 3x.

They have access to more money and power over people than any other criminals. Therefore the penalties should be MUCH harsher.

Unfortunately, there is literally NO penalty for breaking the law when you have power.

* A crack dealer who sells crack to 10 people who want to get high gets 20 years in prison.

A millionare politician who steals money from 300,000,000 Americans goes to jail for 6 months, pay a fine equivelant to 12 months of their stock earnings, and is pardoned by the President.

Well, I am from Idaho, and my state is more known today for Senator Larry Craig's scandal than for the wonderful things my state has to offer. I feel so hurt because he didn't not resigned from his seat, but he was put in the Idaho's Hall of Fame. It should be the Idaho's Hall of Shame now. I truly believe that they should receive the same punishments that any regular citizen when they do something wrong, and even more because they represent the highest values that make our country the best in the world. If I believe they do?, no they don't, they do not receive the same punishment than you and me, and it is very sad, because the law is different if you are a politician, an actor or your last name is Hilton.

well yeah.... the law is the law; if it is not upheld in all circumstances, then what does it profit us to have laws?
i believe that justice is delivered to [law makers & enforcers] as it is delivered to [regular citizens]..... sometimes the consequences are enforced, sometimes not. That doesn't mean that the laws are not upheld, it just means that in certain situations the full brunt of the consequence was not enforced, and there was grace extended.
Though i do believe that because those that make and enforce the Law are more aquainted with the legal system; as well as the context and fine line of the Law, they are more easily able to manipulate it in order to escape consequnce. BUT there are honest people in Law enforcement and Legislation, so i am certain that those that misuse the law to their advantage will not escape consequence forever.
Though they should be held to a higher standard because they are not ignorant of the requirements and demands of the Law. Their knowledge makes them more accountable; and culpable.

i imagine that the declare that "maximum unlawful extraterrestrial beings from south of our borders fit the following profile, written contained in the imaginary first human being for readability..." is a shaggy dog tale. i understand some human beings experience that way in spite of the indisputable fact that that's extreme and attempting to incite animosity in the route of hispanics. They do come the following for a more advantageous existence. no longer impressive yet all of us should be coming the following legally. Enforcement of immigration regulation isn't racist because it applies to all races. It would not say hispanics are barred from get accurate of entry to contained in the U. S.. the pro-unlawful alien communities are merely utilising the racism argument because white all of us is traumatized with race topics through slavery and the civil rights era. I really have got here across that many times each and every ethnicity has a level of racism. i imagine that hispanics are in pick of unlawful immigration because it reward their ethnicity. To help an amnesty is really racist because it disproportionately reward hispanics while criminal immigration enables all ethnicities to earnings. there are dissimilar diverse ethnicities waiting in line that that's unfair that hispanics who've damaged the regulation would make the most of this crime.

They should receive a harsher sentence. Particularly if they broke the law they created.

I think police officers who sell drugs, should receive a harsher sentence then the drug dealer.

I think a Judge who abuses drugs should receive a harsher sentence then the drug addict.

But there are two justice systems in America, one for the rich and one for the poor. The justice system is unfair along racial lines as well, blacks receive longer sentences for doing the same crime as their white counterparts.

So I think the justice system is very unfair.

How about if we receive the same treatment they receive if we break the law? That would be fair because then I can go shoot my english professor in the head like our vice president did that guy and say I was aiming for a duck. just kidding.

No I have said for years now that anyone that takes an oath in order to get a job whether it's a cop or a President should have all sentences doubled for any crime they intentionally commit.

Yes they should receive the same consequences if not more.

No they don't as they "accidentally" leave loopholes and sometimes bend the legislation slightly.

Hope that helps, good luck.
