What was wrong with the 80's? Since everything is so trendy and empty today, he could make a comeback.

I highly doubt those are real clips from his new album. Will.I.Am helped him put this album together, so I wouldn't be surprised if we hear a little bit of black-eyed peas coming out in the music. Michael knows how to work it, he's a musical genius. And even IF it did sound like his 80's crap, what's the big deal? It'll sell, look at Kanye West and Rihanna using his 80's music as theirs.

Did you really hear "new" clips, or are they faked?
(This has happened before!)
If he's making music like he did in the 80's, people from the 80's will buy it.

Well, since he lives in a bizarre little universe of his own where it's ok for young boys to sleep in the same bed with non-relative male adults, I suppose the pop music scene of that same universe is not subject to the same sense of time as ours.

I think what you have heard is probably just old unreleased songs.. I have many MJ songs/demos which never been released on any album..

as hard as it might be to overlook his freaky-perverted private life, this dude made some stone cold classic tunes back in the day,,,,perhaps he is still trying to reformulate his old sound as a desperate attempt to recoup some $$$$$.
